Rapping Hammers

appers are time-controlled systems provided for removing dust from the collecting plates and the discharge electrodes as well as for gas distribution devices (optional) and for hopper walls (optional). Rapping systems may be actuated by electrical or pneumatic power, or by mechanical means. Tumbling hammers as a mechanical mean may also be used to dislodge ash. Hammers are starting to wear because of the continuous hitting on the anvils.
